What to Wear this Coolinary Month: La Petite Grocery
The last stop on our Coolinary tour is the quaint and chic La Petite Grocery
LPG is located Uptown at the corner of Magazine and General Pershing. It's name honors the building which was historically a small grocery store in the center of the Jefferson trade Market in the late 1800s.
La Petite's brightly colored store front is a great indicator of the warmth and hospitality you are sure to receive when you dine in. The highly acclaimed restaurant offers an upscale french cafe feel while remaining casual and approachable. You can be sure to expect a top notch experience without the pretension.
What to Wear
The first look we chose is a velvet and rainbow Milly dress paired with a boysenberry heel and patterned beaded clutch. This dress fits like a dream and is perfect for a nice dinner or dressed up for a cocktail party.
The second look we pulled is a silk Milly blouse with floral applique paired with black denim. Adding the beaded clutch, statement earrings and heels dresses up this chic and effortless look.
All smiles for the grilled tuna
What to eat..
Don't forget to stop in before Coolinary month ends. I highly suggest the grilled yellowfin tuna for a delicious and healthy option. Be sure to order blue crab beignets for the table too, you won't regret it. Happy dining!
